Bec Lindsay!

Rev. Dr. Bec Lindsay lives with her family on Gadigal and Bidjigal land. She is a lecturer in Old Testament/Hebrew Bible at the United Theological College.

Bec’s research explores the intersection of biblical studies and settler colonialism. Her PhD reads the book of Ruth in conversation with themes and texts from Australia to consider how ‘settlers’ in Australia might responsibly read biblical texts and settler colonialism contexts.

An ordained Minister of the Word, her worshipping home is at Hope Uniting Church in Maroubra and you might find her at the beach.
